Development History: |
CubAll was my submissiong for the first assignment in my Video Game Design and Development course at University of Illinois at Chicago. The assignment was to create a pinball game in Unity that had at least one ball, physics, and two bumpers. Each student was to make their own, and based on the work presented in class team leads would be picked. I had made a traditional pinball game the night before and felt that it lacked anything special, so I took the bare-minimum requirements for a pinball game and proceeded to make something else. My favorite part of this little prototype was how calming it was. I really liked the idea of procedural music being used so I created four stems that kind of worked with one another. As you hit this colored dots in the center, it would fade a stem in or out. |
